The Yardstick Group of Companies is adding a new member to their People Operations (POps) team! As a corporate service, POps has the unique opportunity to work with all Yardstick’s business units (incl. Danatec, Banister Research, etc.) in shaping a strong organizational culture through programs, systems, and policy.
In a typical day you might coach management on maximizing their staff, create a process to facilitate smooth onboarding, or design and deliver a training session on a topic related to human resources (or… work with the Social Committee to plan a foosball tournament, Cinco de Mayo piñata, or mini-golf course – the work here is VERY diverse). POps also ensures everyone has money in the bank through operational activities like payroll, benefits, and RRSP.
This position is a full-time, mid-level role based out of our Edmonton office (8:30-5:00).
